I didn't have time to photograph or video anything before the Tour of Homes Sunday, but I finally got around to it today even though it's rainy and dreary outside. Thanks to all who came! It truly blessed me! Here are some stills of the dining area. I'll share the rest of the house soon and make some reels with a full walk through.

I was very inspired by Little Women/Victorian era for Christmas this year, so I leaned very hard into that aesthetic. You'll see lots of fresh greenery, fruit and pomanders, candles, and velvet ribbon. It's so different from anything I've ever done but I'm loving it! It's very cozy like a warm hug!

My prayer is that every person who walks through our doors this Christmas feels God's love. None of this stuff matters except to celebrate Him!

🎄We have so many new friends around here, I thought I'd introduce myself! Welcome to The Daylily Cottage!! I'm Amanda Henderson and this is my little family---my husband, Jared, and two daughters, Katlyn and Ashlyn.

🎄If you love gardening, flowers, decorating, or thrifting, you're in the right place! I love to share tips and my shenanigans in all of those things!

🎄We live in South Alabama (in between Andalusia and Opp to be exact) and I provide fresh flowers, floral design for weddings and events, and seasonal decorating locally. I do grow a lot of the flowers I sell and LOVE that part of the process! You'll see my business is very seasonal so things are changing all the time with the seasons. Right now, I'm in the thick of Christmas decorating for clients, but just a couple months ago, it was full of flower orders and my flower subscription service called Bouquet Club. 💐

🎄I love getting creative and new challenges excite me! This year, I decorated my first storefront and hosted fall and Christmas styled photo shoots for photographers and it was so fun to do something new! I also love to write; I've been a magazine contributor for the past 10+ years and still occasionally blog on my website. Hopefully 2025 will bring some new creative opportunities!
