Our Story

Our business began in the garage of the Nowak household and has now expanded to several warehouse facilities. In 1988, Polly put her extensive training and natural skills as a florist to good use, offering her designs to high-end catering firms in Orange County. Four years later, her husband, Herb, joined the rapidly growing business to aid in its expansion. Together, as a husband and wife duo, they quickly began designing and developing full scale themed events using props and florals. In 2012, Herb and Polly’s youngest daughter, Melinda, joined the team. Her expertise in operational management skills, along with her flare for sales and design, continues to bring success to the business. Here, at Themes & Flowers, we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of employees who help bring your events to life.
