Okay, this is so lame but my absolute favorite thing about Utah is Orem, Summerfest. I remember taking archer when he was 6 months old for the first time, and coming from LA I find the whole county fair thing fascinating! This year because of covid, summerfest, strawberry days, fiesta days, etc. are all cancelled (I totally get it and have come to terms with it haha) but this is the only summerfest my kids will have ever missed. Have to channel it’s energy with our Vintage Carnival shoot featured earlier this year on ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So I don't think there's any secret to the fact that I LOVE plants, if you can't tell by the everything about my brand & marketing. And I also love busy, I do. haha But the sweet spot is that clean design that is also complex without causing anxiety. So happy to finally be able to post from this amazing shoot featured in 2020 UVB magazine!

Steel Magnolias inspired paper is blush and bashful and although this wedding menu does not sound like my cup of tea I tried to base the flavor profile off things they ate in the movie! 😂 so I had to watch it once through just to stalk it for food items.

Before this year, we'd had one couple have to move the date of their wedding in between the time that save the dates and invites have gone out. This year, we are up to 17 couples that we've had to update, or cut down guest counts, postpone, etc. But even with the sad news, we try and make it look cute! (yes, that's the deathstar posing as the moon for this Star Wars/Elegant Woodland Wedding) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hello everyone! I have missed you all so much over the last 6 weeks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Like all of us, our family and dear friends have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have lost people we love, still have sick friends, are scared for the families of our loved ones that are sick, have had massive business loss, increased workloads due to reschedulings/cancellations with 0 staff to help, and 0 childcare options. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so grateful the country is beginning to open back up, and hope this gave businesses time to adapt to this new threat.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so grateful for the support system of friends, family, and peers, that helped get me through the last 6 weeks in spite of all that's going on.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So grateful to my job's flexibility so my family could remain home successfully this whole time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am super excited that I've had more time with my kids and husband, and time enough to help friends who have had critical issues arise.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am very sorry for my poor upkeep in communication with a lot of you throughout everything! I knew I didn't have the time commitment to devote to social media, and have just tried to manage the new solo workload. All the work and beauty you've all been posting and sharing throughout has been wonderful to see today!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is something I drew up one night from a thought I couldn't shake. So much of what we do affects those around us, we act, and others feel the effects on multiple levels. We've felt our country divided and connected in so many ways throughout this pandemic - with our jobs, income security, businesses, health risks, beliefs, resources, safety, and happiness. And it's too early to know who's way is the right way. All we can do is try to be selfless and kind, and do what we can. This has affected everyone.
