It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of Troy “Jay” Adkins, the man behind the establishment of Big Darby’s Ravine. His memories will live in our hearts forever. We will celebrate his life on May 11th at our venue.

Last summer I began dreaming of a way that Rising Sun could cater to more private events and almost 7 months later that dream is finally happening with our new coffee cart.

This cart features top-of-the-line equipment, a full espresso bar, dairy-free milk options, alternative drinks, locally roasted coffee and premium/house-made syrups. Best part? Option for custom cups and custom cart branding unique to your event.

Weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, work meetings, corporate events, expos, churches, schools… you name it, we are there!

Our truck will now primarily serve Farmer’s Markets and local pop ups, with the cart catering to all private events.

Since we are a family owned business, we also love to support other small businesses. Today, we spent a few hours in the sunflower fields at Scioto Sunflowers. They have over 40 types of sunflowers and feature pumpkins and mums from Fannin's Farm Market. They also have other goods from locals, including seasonal earrings from Indigo Roads Boutique.
