HINT no.1 for September 2025 Name That Tune!
The Southern California band Saint Motel hit it big with their 2014 release “My Type”. The song was recorded using different unique methods, including hitting beer bottles to create percussion! The single became popular in the following years and was featured in the movie “Paper Towns” and the video games FIFA 15 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2016! HINTS for THIS WEEKEND’S TRIVIA Sept 2025

In 2008 Robert Downey Jr. starred in what would become the theatrical birth of the MARVEL Universe! “Iron Man” was released in summer 2008, and boy was it awesome! Every kid, teen, and adult was Iron Man for Halloween that year! Over the next years we were slowly introduced to our beloved Avengers. Incredibly, there are currently 37 movies that exist in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), including the most recent “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, which premiered July 2025. Not to mention over 40 television shows! This rabbit hole has gotten so deep that in order to understand some of the movie storylines, you MUST also watch some of the TV shows as well! Weaved like the branches of Yggdrasil that Loki so unselfishly holds, these timelines are still being written. Soon we may see our beloved Robert Downey Jr become a villain in “Avengers: Doomsday”! His Doctor Doom character was hinted at during the 2024 Comic Con, but has not been officially confirmed as of yet. But I gotta tell you guys.. I’m so excited to find out what happens next!!

The song “Lil Boo Thang” is a cute upbeat jam that takes its backbeat and roots from the 70s funk legends. And for the older generation out there, the term “lil boo thang” refers to a relationship where you are “talking and hanging out” but not quite girlfriend and boyfriend. HINT no. 1: August 2025 Name That Tune
Released as the lead single from ABBA’s fourth studio album in 1976, “Dancing Queen" is a Europop/disco song about the joy and freedom you feel while dancing. The band’s name "ABBA" is an acronym formed from the first letters of each member's first name: Agnetha, Björn, Benny, Anni-Frid, although there has never been any official confirmation of who each letter in the sequence refers to. In 1997 Benny and Bjorn of ABBA decided to create a musical full of their most famous songs. August 2025 Trivia Hints!
This month is FLASH BACK month! We are re-capping questions and songs from the last Three Years that we have been hosting! So let’s take a moment and remember something about our ability to remember!

Discovered by psychologists in the 1950s, it is said that the average brain can only hold about seven items at once in its short term memory, but if you compile ideas into a single “folder” you are able to remember more at once. For instance, the Orlando area codes are made up of three numbers, but our memories have compiled them into one single idea: 407. 321. 689. Thus, taking up less mental space! It is also said to help prevent dementia, certain brain games like crossword puzzles, sudoku, and even TRIVIA are spectacular at boosting the brain’s health! In people with ADHD, their memory may not be as strong as someone without. People with ADHD often have difficulty remembering instructions in order to finish a task and a “disorganized” information storing system - which can cause an inability to easily find information stored in the brain! Good brain health vitamins like Omega 3 and Ginkgo have the ability to naturally help us get our memories back in shape! But always consult your doctor first if you plan on taking any vitamins. It’s amazing what that little mushy blob in our skulls can do!

The Presidents of the United States of America were a 90s band known for their quirky, playful, and often nonsensical lyrics. The song "Lump" was released in 1995 on their self-titled debut album and became a hit, reaching number one on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.
