Let’s talk about bodices: specifically, lined vs. unlined.
👗 A lined bodice is fully opaque, often with structured cups and smooth fabric behind the lace or embellishments. It gives more coverage, adds a touch of formality, and works beautifully for classic or modest bridal styles.
✨ An unlined bodice lets the lace or beading shine directly against your skin or illusion mesh. It gives a more romantic, ethereal feel and can highlight detail work in a dramatic way. Some unlined bodices are still structured, while others have a softer, more relaxed look.
Neither option is “better.” It all comes down to the vibe you want and how you want to feel in your dress.
