Hello March On Events followers. I apologize for not being more interactive lately on here. I've been busy lately with life.

I've been training to run my 1st marathon, the Chicago Marathon which is just a few short weeks away, on top of other life events.

Abuse of children is at an all time high, all over the world. this is such a huge problem, that is only now gaining some attention. It's sad that many children fall prey to adults who take advantage of their innocence for their benefit.

Children are being expoited literally right under our noses, and abroad. These are just a microscopic portion of the amount of abuse of children that goes on daily. Texas, Wisconsin, Arizona etc. We need to do more because this should be top news.

Our virtual Save Our Children medal, has a portion of each purchase go to Operation Underground Railroad. Their mission is to stop these predators.

We sometimes are afraid to know what's outside our comfort zones. If we don't attempt to come out of our comfort zones we won't know what's beyond that.

Exercise is underrated for so many reasons. It offers the chance to increase your self esteem, boost your mood, reduce stress and that's just the tip of the iceberg. But what if you work long hours, or overnights, or just irregular shifts. How does one find motivation?

When I first started running I was only intrinsically motivated by the medals and nothing else. Twelve years later, there is more that motivates me than just the medals.

March On Events is trying to change that. We want to be what you look forward to when you walk or run. Today, I'm adding a link to Operation Underground Railroads website which leads to some online training for parents about online safety. Predators online is the biggest threat to parents right now and Operation Underground Railroad works with people who look for child traffickers through these online websites to stop these predators.

I practice what I preach. I love running, walking, exercising in general. It does wonders for your health. This is only a years worth of medals. I have many more packed in storage from my move. As I grow this business I will invest not only in helping others, but in the business.

I can't wait to add to our collection once we get the momentum going and I can design more medals for everyone.

Little known fact about me. I used to be in the Army some time ago. I have a passion for helping others and making a difference. This is my way of doing that. I can no longer serve because I have a spinal cord injury, so I had to look for a way to help others and do what I enjoy (running).

I hope to spread awareness to the many causes that don't get alot of spotlight. I hope you can help me by purchasing a virtual race, once they become available and continue spreading the word.

With our first set of medals arriving soon, I wanted to announce that for this first race we will be donating funds to Operation Underground Railroad. They are an amazing organization. This is what their purpose is, taken from their website.

" Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) has made a significant impact in the fight to end s*x trafficking and s*xual exploitation by assisting in rescuing and supporting thousands of survivors in almost 40 countries and 50 U.S. states"

I will be setting up our website this weekend to include all the details to order the medals. If we surpass the 1st order I receive I will do pre-orders for another batch of medals.
