Sharon continues to be an active member in our Orlando community, serving on many boards of directors and is now serving as Chairman of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.

The recipient of the first ever WISE Greater Orlando Women of Inspiration award in 2022, Jessica West was the Vice President of Facilities and Operations for Orlando City Soccer Club, Orlando Pride and Inter&Co Stadium. In just two years, West restructured the Facilities and Operations teams while transforming the stadium from a soccer-specific venue to a multi-sport entertainment venue, hosting marquee events like the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games Opening Ceremony, the Cure Bowl, USMNTâs FIFA Cup qualifier, several concerts, and more. Jessica is also a passionate member of the Orlando community and mentorâs students from the University of Central Florida Sport Management Program and Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

Pat Williams was a true visionary whose impact on our community and the basketball world cannot be overstated. His remarkable achievements with the Orlando Magic, including his role in the teamâs creation and tenure as senior vice president, have left an indelible mark on the sport. His leadership transcended the court, fostering a culture of success and community engagement that has touched the lives of fans and players alike. I consider him a great role model, and he will be dearly missed by many.

The recipient of our Rising Star award in 2022, Ali Anderson was the Director of Business Strategy for the Orlando Magic. Using her expertise, she helped lead the Magic to its highest grossing single game ticket revenue season of all-time in 2021 and helped grow in-app sales of express pickup and in-seat delivery of food and beverage, merchandise, and unique team experiences over 200% in just two years. Anderson also enjoyed giving back to her community, serving as a guest lecturer for University of Central Floridaâs sport business graduate and undergraduate programs and volunteering with local nonprofit Code Orlando.

The featured speaker at our 2021 Celebrating Women in Sports Luncheon, Brandi Chastain is a two-time FIFA Women's World Cup Champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist who played for the US Womenâs National Team from 1988-2004. Recognized as one of the most notable female soccer stars, Chastain was named to the USWNT All-Time Best XI in 2013 and inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2017.

The recipient of our Rising Star award in 2021, Megan Rose was the Managing Director of Major Events for the United States Tennis Association - USTA (Official). In this role, Rose was responsible for the promotion, operation, and strategic direction of the USTAâs professional tennis assets including the US Open Series, the Davis Cup & Billie Jean King Cup, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and many more. Rose was a 5-time NCAA All-American, ITA Player of the Year, ITA National Indoor Champion, and competed on the WTA Tour prior to her career with USTA.
