Holiday cooking tips:

While fresh produce is ideal, it is far too expensive for some people to afford.

Traditionally canned vegetables have been used but they contain too much salt and way too many preservatives.

This holiday season utilize frozen vegetables. They contain 0 salt, no preservatives, and are $1 or less per bag depending on the grocery store.

Cook down your smoked meat with the seasonings of choice (if you’re interested in knowing the seasonings i use please comment below).

Add in your frozen string beans, peas, mixed vegetables, or greens and let it cook down low and slow 💖🫶🏽
