Fathers are important. The love of a Father is vital. To the beautiful men who love their children well, the ones stand in the front lines of life to protect and provide for their family. You are deeply treasured.

I realize every family dynamic is different but that doesn’t give us the right to discredit the men who father well. If you haven’t known the love of a father I pray that you allow our loving Heavenly Father to shower you with His comfort and joy today.

To the incredible men who wear fatherhood so wonderfully, Happy Father’s Day! You are loved, valued and treasured deeply!

I saved the best for last (biased opinion of course) third to last photo is my father-in-law, there’s nothing more I could ever ask of you than for you to continue loving my girls the way you do. To my husband (2nd to last photo) thank you for being the provider, comforter, and leader our daughters need. Lastly, the very best of the best, to my sweet daddy, even though I’ve had more years without you than I lived with you, in those years you taught me a Fathers love in the most selfless, joyful, and incredible way, I miss you and love you endlessly.

This view could not have been more beautiful. Mikayla & Jeremiah’s wedding at a private family home in Connecticut could not have been more wonderful. Every moment of the day was such a beautiful representation of the type of love they share.

The private vows they shared, the way their families came together and were intentionally a part of their special day, the way the day was treasured, it was all such an honor to be a part of.

It’s wedding day for one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever had the honor of knowing and serving. It’s been almost five months since I’ve photographed a wedding due to slowing down to devote myself and my time to my sweet babies. I’m so excited to come out of sabbatical to love on and serve Brittany & Scott alongside one of my favorite planners, Riley, at my very favorite venue, the stunning ! It’s going to be a fantastic day! 💕

Not that I’ve been super active on here lately anyway, but I’m going to begin a 21 day fast tomorrow and social media will be one of the things I’m fasting. I will still check for messages but please if you happen to read this and wish to inquire do so via my website as I’d like to keep my need to check social media as minimal as possible.

Thank you all for being so patient with me as I’ve been much less involved in my social media lately. I’ve always done my best to keep my little corner of the internet honest and real and allowed my trials to be shared in an effort to reach others who may be struggling with something similar.
But this time I’ve not yet felt a peace to share what I’m going through. I know I’ll share eventually and I feel like I’m getting closer but I don’t feel that release to share just yet.

I wish my mind and heart matched this photo. I’ve had some of the most fun and adventurous days over the past few months but nothing trumps the storm raging inside my mind and heart. 2022 could be one of the greatest years of my life or one of the most devastating. The uncertainty I’m facing in my personal life is one of the heaviest burdens I’ve carried. I’m doing all that I can to allow God to carry me through this but it’s still so hard to not worry, to not wonder what the future holds. I’m holding on to every ounce of hope with all that I have. The future is completely out of my hands and for a strong woman who’s always trying to “fix” things that’s really hard for me. So for now I’m trying to fix my eyes on Jesus, focus on my blessings, slow down and embrace the beautiful day to day moments that I will never get back.

Your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me. Im praying for God to send the right people into this situation, I’m praying for God to open doors that no one else can and close doors that need to be closed quickly. I don’t want to rush the days but I really pray God will expedite things and make a way for this to have a happy ending. My heart is so heavy.
