So much of life is about balance.
Photography is no exception. It is a balance between what we can control and what we cannot. I can control everything about the camera; exposure, framing, lighting and to some degree my subject.
The things that slip through my grasp of control while I’m shooting are often where the magic happens.
A wandering little sister may toddle into my frame and create the real moment of parenthood. That moment when two parents really show what it’s like to have two babies. It’s nothing too outlandish, but it tells the whole story in such a beautifully human way - and it was completely out of my control.

When people recount the most impactful moments of their life, they don’t usually tell you about the big zoomed out version . “I went on stage and got my oscar” is a dull and boring story.
Humans recount a story with tiny details that really stuck out to them at the time. A funny tone, a well-timed gust of wind, the look on someone’s face; these are the details that make a story wonderful.
The little fleeting details is what our brains cling to. Those tiny details make a story magical.
That’s what I’m always looking for in life. It’s not the big moment, it’s the little ones.

Style and the size of your guest list are independent variables when it comes to your wedding.
An Intimate wedding or elopement does not mean you can’t have impeccable style and outfit changes and fabulous taste and all the extra touches. Do you. Be extra. Go big - even with a small guest list.
So as it turns out, size DOESN’T matter 😉

There’s the perfect photo, then there’s the perfect photo - yunno what I mean?
I’m here for that ideal, print-quality image. I shoot for publications and magazine covers and billboards and allll that stuff. That sort of crisp idealistic portraiture scratches an itch in my brain.
But that candid moment? That accident on film that breaks the ‘rules’? The moment in time that just sort of happens without me doing much besides being ready? That’s what scratches an itch in my soul!
That moment is what it’s all about.

The style of photography I provide aims at being airy, bright and genuine. My approach involves putting families in the right light, giving clear instruction and allowing personalities to shine through. My goal of genuine expression happens as everyone in the family begins to relax into the time-tested pattern established by my group handling techniques.
Clients can be as involved or as hands off the planning process as they wish to be. I provide location consultation; granting access to my extensive example galleries of the many beautiful areas of Orlando. This will guide you to see how different locations will photograph. In addition to location scouting, your session includes a simple and easy-to-follow guide on how to dress your entire group (large or small) for the best outcome. The wardrobe consultation includes a well curated inspiration board which can be easily shared with all the family involved in the shoot.
I keep the pace of the shoot quick, starting with the whole group in the beginning and breaking it down into further subsections which allows everyone to take breaks and watch their family members giggle and be silly in front of my camera. I ensure all the images will compliment each other - so when they are printed and hung on a wall in your family homes they present as a piece of cohesive art work.
