We wanted to let everyone know about a leadership transition within the Florida Festivals and Events Association (FFEA).

Our current Board Chair, Chris Liberatore, has decided to step away from the event industry to pursue a new career path. While we are saddened to see him go, we are deeply grateful for his dedication, guidance, and contributions to FFEA during his tenure. Chris’s passion for our industry and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark, and we wish him all the best in this next chapter of his journey.

In light of this transition, Mary Pinak, our Immediate Past Chair, will step in to resume the role of Board Chair on an interim basis. Mary brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to our mission, ensuring continuity and strong leadership as we move forward.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the role of Board Chair will transition to Tasha Hyder at our annual conference in August 2025. Tasha’s extensive background in events and her vision for the future of FFEA will undoubtedly propel our organization to new heights.

We appreciate your continued support and trust as we navigate this transition together.
