(see Ms. Soprano's career in detail below)

Anna Maria is a Soprano singer, song styli

st and performer, whose versatile voice, range and technique also embraces those of Mezzo and Contralto. Her career spans nearly 3 decades as a performer, singing in the most diverse venues and cultures between Europe and the Americas. Anna Maria has created a performance and musical bridge between international classics, opera arias, and contemporary, a niche called classical-crossover, a superb blend of opera and pop music “a la Bocelli”, revisiting classics of opera, Neapolitan, Broadway, international evergreens, and a number of original songs specifically written for her, into a captivating way as her voice and interpretation soar striking the very chords of human emotions, often bringing people to tears. Soprano’s presence is highlighted by the mesmerizing and dramatic use of choreography and acting to dramatize her songs. She is simply a natural in this regard. This dramatic body facility is embedded in her early training, in ballet and growing up using sign language to communicate to her deaf mother. Anna Maria Soprano AKA Cavicchia began her life’s and musical journey in Udine, Italy, just a breath away from Venice. Her completely deaf mother and her hearing impaired father were destined to influence her gravitation to music. Her parents raised her as a child listening to recordings of operas, Caruso favorites, and Neapolitan songs, so her parents were certain she would have complete hearing and listening experiences. Her voice and stage presence began developing and grooming at the age of 18 in Italy with Dizzy Gillespie and Lilian Terry in Bassano Del Grappa at their Academy of Jazz; and classically with private tutoring by the dynamic Mezzo-Soprano Ms. Monica Falconio; also at the Conservatory of Music in Trieste by acclaimed singer Soprano Ms. Patrizia Greco, and finally by the greatly esteemed Philadelphia Opera Company Bass Mr. Julian Rodescu, just to name a few. In between Ms. Soprano took lessons in ballet and acting, while performing with ballroom bands as a female lead singer, in stage productions and appearances on Italian national television shows, leaving an indelible mark wherever she performed. After leaving Italy in 1998, Anna Maria continued her career in the Dominican Republic for three years, learning fluent Spanish, also appearing weekly on Dominican Republic national TV. She has lived in the US since 2001 performing in Atlantic City, New York and many venues in Philadelphia and in the Daytona Beach area. From 2012, Ms. Soprano has literally spent five creative years recording at the Sound Mind Studios in Holly Hill, Florida, collaborating in original music projects with musicians Matt McKeown and Alex Budzilek. She has recorded over fifty original songs written for her by songwriter Richard Nannariello, many of them in pop-opera and classical-crossover genres, producing multiple albums. She has also recorded albums with spiritual themes with her own lyrics inspired by the Hebrew Scriptures, enhancing many classic song melodies with new and original arrangements by the renown composer and arranger Massimo Passon in Udine, Italy, under the pseudonym of Anna Maria Bat YAH, from the Hebrew meaning “Daughter of YAH” the Almighty of Israel. Her coworkers find her a delight working studio sessions with songwriters, arrangers, musicians and other singers. She knows what she wants and has the performing and musical expertise to collaborate with other creatives with a work ethic and creative resource that seems to be in endless supply. Being a consummate perfectionist, she has a tendency to be her own worse critic. Anna Maria, had taken a sabbatical from live performing a few years ago, to care for the rearing of her young son, but certainly not from a robust recording schedule. She is now returning to live performing and is working with a number of creatives to enliven her classical repertoire with new arrangements and performing ideas. She is also selecting from a library of original songs, many written specifically for her, for a new and exciting performance. Her schedule of appearances in Florida venues will be available later in 2017. Anna Maria Soprano lives in Ormond Beach, Florida, with her husband Anthony and their son Marc Anthony. Booking Info:
