Thank you to Laura Cunningham and her vision that’s doing incredible things at SkyView Market. It’s an honor to smoke your brisket and to be showcased in your market!

Wow! THANK YOU to each and every one of you who came to visit us this past weekend. From our incredible morning crowd, who showed up early and showed up big (and hung out in line for the check out - thank YOU ❤️!) to our local farmers who stopped for snacks for their crews at lunchtime.

Thank you to my family and friends. Several who took a break from their own fall harvest to help at the market. They are just the best and help make it a fun place to be.

Each month’s market prep starts the day after the previous one comes to a close. We meet new people, talk about new product ideas, work out logistics and share updates on what’s going to be available. And each time a small part of me wonders if guests will visit. Especially this time of year when our hours have to accommodate changing fall harvest schedules.

And then you do! New faces, familiar faces, neighbors and new friends. Thanks to each of you who continue to cheer us on! Who give us ideas for things we could offer and improve. And who share your love of SkyView Market with friends and family. You all mean so much to not only my family but to so many local farmers and businesses.

🫶 If you shopped at the market this weekend, you made an impact on 37 family farms and small businesses that have products on the shelves in our market. Plus all those that contribute to building, maintaining and operating those farms and businesses. We are so grateful to be part of this North Iowa community who continues to show how much Choosing Local supports all. ❤️
