Our schedule is becoming quite full as we approach March. I am very much looking forward to our early weddings this year.

2025 marks my sixteenth year specializing in wedding floral arrangements.

Yesterday, I received a delightful email from the mother of a bride from 2019; she would like us to arrange flowers for her other daughter's wedding in 2026! That is a truly wonderful compliment.

Let’s talk weddings. My name is Chalee J and I am the owner of Always N Bloom Weddings. We are entering our 16th wedding season in 2025 and yesterday was a great start to the year.

“Consultations”.
In person vs. Virtual: My favortite is In person consultations. For years I have met clients at Panera in Mishawaka. This would be our first introduction, a meet and greet. I love the opportunity to meet with the couple to get to know them and see colors, flowers, rental pieces in person. We also offer zoom meeting consultations for out of town clients.

What do we discuss: We discuss everything from the brides bouquet to the rentals, how the day will flow, colors, varieties of flowers, and what vessels can be used. I like to educate the clients so they leave the meeting with a better knowledge of flowers.

Cost: There is no cost involved in a floral consultation. We do recommend that you have your colors chosen for your wedding and an overall theme (see Brides.com post) and your venue booked before you schedule your consultation.

How soon should I book a consultation: Vendors book quickly at this time of the year and in late fall just before the holidays. It is the time when a lot of couples are doing most of their wedding planning. The sooner you book the better chance you will get the vendors that you hoped for.

How do I find vendors: Michiana Wedding Network is a great resource for wedding vendors. Also, speak with your venue for their preferred vendor list. We love working with a great vendor team!

What is your overall theme for your wedding? If you could use three words to describe your day, what would they be?
A lot of brides say classic, timeless, garden party, or elegant. What is your favorite theme wedding?

It is a chilly start to the morning but I am thrilled to be back on campus today at Notre Dame for a wedding! It's not secret that ND is one of my absolute favorite places to be on a Saturday, whether it is to catch a game or meet up with the bride and groom before their wedding day.

In anticipation of inclement weather, we florists must implement additional safeguards to protect our inventory. Due to the extreme cold, we proactively rescheduled this week's deliveries to mitigate the risk of cold damage to our floral arrangements.
