Rivereast Neighborhood Christmas Art Event is coming up, November 30, 10-1 at a new location this year. Copper Hall has donated their space, they are located at 203 Otter Ave. Bring the kids and make some memories and we will do the clean up for you.

We were honored last night by Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods with the Neighborhood Support Hero award. Our wonderful friend Kathy Webb nominated us for the work that we do with River East Neighborhood Association. It was an honor to take home the medal.

RAIN! We are very happy to get some rain for our new rain garden. We worked with Winnebago County, Land and Water Conservation department for guidance and received a grant from them to help with the project. We are excited to partner with them to create this commercial and urban rain garden. The garden will collect water runoff from our roof for our 96 native Wisconsin plants. We look forward to watching it establish and grow over the next couple seasons.

We always encourage people to plan ahead. We are pretty booked through the end of the year during the very popular mid-day, weekend time. The first few months of 2025 will start to fill up soon so grab your date before it is gone. People are thinking about high school graduation because those requests are coming in already!

We are very excited about the completion of our most recent improvement - a fence! This helps us to delineate our property and enclose the playground to provide better security for kids in the side lot. It will provide a better backdrop and photo opportunity for people using the outside space.

Our River East Neighborhood Association Rummage Sale is coming up next week. Our sale at Copper Hall will be indoors, so it doesn't matter what the weather is as we will be open. Hope to see you there!

Do you follow Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods? They are great at connecting our city and building our community. Thanks for the shoutout on the bottom of page 1 of their newsletter on our 100 year building anniversary.

And they are giving away money for improvement projects! Last year we got a grant which helped pay for the sign on the front of our building. It's a very easy application to complete if you have a project in mind.

We will be hosting the Neighborhood Night Out event (page 3) for River East Neighborhood Association on August 6th. Check with your own neighborhood association and get their event on your calendar or ask how you can help with the planning to host one in your area.
