Trophies! Trophies! Trophies!
Can’t wait to reveal the “Big Four”. Many thanks to Cindy and the staff at Crown Trophy and Image 360 for the ideas and hard work to make these awards special and memorable! Come to the WCCS on AUGUST 10 and enter to win one of these…
Car show food.
What more need be said?
At the WCCS, we want to provide food that is delicious and would cause you to want to come back for more.
We are thankful for Dane, one of our members who was a gourmet chef for many years. He is heading a team to provide our show participants and attendees tasty food for purchase. Back again by popular demand—his homemade recipe of Carolina pulled pork! We will also have delicious baked goods available for purchase—the proceeds of which will help some teenagers to go on a foreign country missions trip next year…we look forward to seeing you next weekend (August 10)!
If this engine could talk…what tales would it tell?
Changing the water pump gasket on my ‘69 Goat and ran into an interesting issue…
We had a great first show on Saturday! Many thanks to all who brought their cars and took part. It was our privilege to host you on the grounds here at Wyldewood and we hope that you enjoyed your time with us. Over the next several weeks we will be posting pictures, video footage, and details from the show. If you weren’t able to attend, please mark it on your calendars for the first Saturday of August 2024–we’d love to see you at our second annual!
A BARN FIND!
Driving “Sonic”—Caleb’s 1970 GTO! Caleb has grown up in a Pontiac home and was brought home from the hospital after his birth in a 1969 GTO. I guess it’s fitting that he saved his hard earned dollars and has his own “Goat” 19 years later…Come out this Saturday for the first annual WCCS and check out Caleb’s car and hear the first hand account of how he got it running after 30 years in storage!
Six Days from WCCS 1.0😎 I really appreciate Michael, a friend of mine. He’s excited about the show and I grabbed a quick video of his car…
One month from the show—and a couple of items to fix! An old car is always going to be an old car, you never know when something will need to be tinkered with or fixed!
I hope that you are planning on attending this family oriented car show on Saturday, August 5. I rented two inflatables for the kids in attendance to enjoy—one bouncy house and one obstacle course! Those are two of the items that we will have for the kids in attendance among other hands on activities.
