Handprint Thanksgiving Garland! 🖐️ 🦃

For November, we’re helping families create fun and meaningful Thanksgiving decorations! Each Saturday, check back for a new DIY craft to make your space festive and filled with gratitude.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This Week’s Craft: Handprint Thanksgiving Garland

Turn handprints into a garland filled with messages of thanks! Hang it across the mantel, table, or doorway to celebrate the season with your loved ones.

🖌 What You’ll Need:
Construction paper (fall colors) 🍁
Scissors ✂️
Markers or paint pens 🖍️
String or twine
Glue or tape

✨ How to Do It:
Trace and cut each family member’s handprint.
Write what you're thankful for on each one.
Punch a hole near the wrist and string them together.
Hang the garland and add more handprints throughout the month! 🎉

📸 Share your creations! Tag us with —we’d love to feature your garland! Don’t forget, there’s a new craft every Saturday to keep the creativity going.

🍂 Saturday Funday Fall Craft: Leaf Lanterns! 🍂

Light up your fall evenings with this easy and beautiful DIY Leaf Lantern project! Perfect for kids and adults, these lanterns bring a cozy autumn glow to your home and are ideal for front porch decor or a centerpiece. ✨

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Craft Idea: Leaf Lanterns!
These glowing jars covered with pressed leaves capture the magic of fall and make every room feel warm and festive! 🍁

🖌 What You’ll Need:
Mason jars (or any glass jars)
Pressed leaves (real or artificial) 🍂
Mod Podge or craft glue
Sponge brush
LED lights

✨ How to Do It:
Press leaves under a heavy book for a day or two if using real leaves.
Apply Mod Podge to the outside of the jar using the sponge brush.
Gently press leaves onto the glue-coated jar, smoothing them down.
Apply another layer of Mod Podge over the leaves to seal them.
Once dry, place a tea light candle or LED light inside and watch your lantern glow! 🌟
