Recently, we've had several folks inquiring about items that were disallowed by our security team upon entry into the arena. The primary question has been whether they can get their items back.

Unfortunately, no.

Weapons - including pocketknives - are turned over to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department. All other items, too.

Our security team should be informing you that if you leave the item and go into the building, the item will not be accessible to you later. Your best option is to take the time to take your item back to your vehicle.

We put out a regular "Know Before You Go" posting before events that includes the list of what's not allowed. Check out our website for the full policy: https://oshkosharena.com/policies-and-procedures/

Please note that most security standards have been prescribed to us by the NBA for the Herd games and therefore, adopted for all arena events. We appreciate your understanding of what's needed to keep guests safe and happy while inside the arena.
