Four live broadcasts - games - bull riding and time to shoot hoops with collegiate athletes. Local entertainment - special beverages - an auction for one-of-the-kind memorabilia - a celebration of our high school and college teams, and it all wraps up with a light show. Had a great day at bbq for badges, we took 2nd place in chicken in the pro category thanks to Bruce Anderson and his hard work and practice over the last several years! Finally got a call in chicken!!!! We also took 1st place in the mystery meat category (which was cream cheese), Alex Anderson made a cream cheese cinnamon crossiant bar with candied bacon topping!

Wild Hogz Vision and why: Over 20 years ago, I borrowed a large smoker for a work event, and this was the catalyst for my passion: creating great tasting BBQ.
I began to envision a place that not only provides great tasting food, and also nourished the body and soul. Barbecue tends to bring people together and serve as a bonding experience at any time of the year. It brings people back to their roots, providing a tasting experience that is often an escape from civilization and draws us closer to nature. My goal is to provide a culinary experience that creates memories and brings people together.
Driven by a desire to make a tangible difference and bring people together through food, I embarked on a journey to make the vision come to life. Getting other experts involved, I had a reverse flow smoker built using recycled materials and started cooking for small events.
I enjoy serving the people of our community, and in my desire to make a difference and looking around my community, I saw a need for great tasting BBQ with great customer service options that truly catered to everyone.
The next milestone in bringing the vision to life, was the purchase of a food truck. After a year of re-modeling, the 1968 P-30 Chevrolet box truck was brought back to life.
My career with a large industrial company is in Health and Safety, so food safety is a core value in my business, ensuring the customer can always trust they will receive a quality, food safe product.
I remain steadfast in my mission to make a positive impact on the community one meal at a time.
