Five years ago on April 1, 2020 the world felt different. It was heavy, quiet, and the way we celebrated and connected with one another began to fade in ways we had never imagined. In the middle of that stillness we knew joy still needed to be seen, felt, and shared, even from a distance.

That is when balloons became part of our story. What began with decorating storefronts and creating drive-by celebrations quickly became a powerful reminder that celebration can travel. It can bring hope to someone watching from their window, spark a smile on a child’s face from across the street, and remind us all that love finds its way no matter the circumstances.

From those humble beginnings we have grown into a full-service balloon décor, backdrop, and marquee rental company. With over five years of professional training and development, it is our honor to transform milestones into unforgettable memories.

Today it is our pleasure to serve the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs, helping create moments of joy, beauty, and connection for every occasion.

From Broken English to Balloons...

Yesterday, while I was on a call to expand our balloon business, I was discussing the purchase of helium tanks when the salesperson complimented me: "You sound like a savvy person. You’re very well spoken."

I smiled, grateful, but it made me reflect on how far I’ve come. There was a time when I struggled to communicate effectively. As a child learning English as a second language, I faced huge challenges adapting to a new country, school, and culture. My reading skills were weak, and my parents barely spoke English. The schools I attended didn’t provide much support—just enough to push me forward.

But over time, I realized that effective communication was key to my success. I worked hard to improve my speaking and writing skills, understanding that in the business world, the way you communicate can open doors and create meaningful connections. Today, I’m proud to say that my communication skills have played a big role in building our Pop-of-Love brand.

As we ramp up our helium balloon bouquets to help you celebrate your loved ones, we’re here to fill the gap left by Party City’s nationwide closures. With balloons for every occasion—birthdays, anniversaries, or just because—we’re dedicated to bringing joy to every celebration.

So, while the salesperson continued with their compliments, I nodded with gratitude but also with the quiet confidence that it wasn’t just about how I sounded—it was about the hard work and growth that had gotten me to that point.
