I hate to even write this but unfortunately it must be done. I am probably the most lenient photographer out there. If you're late it's ok. If you don't show... It's ok things happen I get it. I'm not perfect either. If you need to reschedule last minute I got you. Unfortunately this cannot happen any more. I have a contract in place when booking a session. I don't think I have ever implemented it. Today I had two no shows, and 3 late clients which after having to pay for destination photos cost money out of my pocket. That's huge for my small business, as I don't work 5-7 days a week. There's weeks I don't make anything at all. The joys of being a photographer I guess. I also like to keep my prices affordable so you can imagine how huge of a loss that is for one day.

From this moment on my contract will be fully implemented.

LATE ARRIVAL: Clients must arrive to their session at their scheduled start time. If client is late the session time will not be extended or rescheduled. Refunds or credits are not available for sessions cut short or entirely missed due to a client’s late arrival. You will get what we can get with the time you have. If you show up after your session is over a double fee will be implemented.

BOOKING PROCESS & SESSION FEE PAYMENT TERMS : The NON-REFUNDABLE SESSION FEE is due at time of booking and is required to reserve the photography session on the agreed upon date and time. This fee is non-refundable even if the time and date is changed or in the event the client cancels or no shows. I understand not everyone can pay in full in advance and I do apologize but unfortunately all sessions must be paid in full upon booking and will be non refundable.

SESSION RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION: If a client wishes to cancel or reschedule their session it must be done via text @ 315-529-6116 and acknowledged by Kelly Wenthe 24- 48 hours prior to the session date. If the client wishes to reschedule in a timely matter they will have 30 days from the original session date before the session expires to reschedule. In the event of an expired session or cancellation the client will not receive any type of refund or credit. If the client fails to reschedule 24-48 hours prior to their session or no shows you will be subjected to a rescheduling / no show fee of $75 that must be paid before getting back on my calendar.

GIFT CERTIFICATES/CREDITS: Gift certificates have an expiration date and must be used before they expire. No exceptions will be made. It is your responsibility as a client to make sure you use your credits and gift certificates with in the time frame that is given. No refunds will be given! This also goes for any sessions that needs to be rescheduled. They must be rescheduled within 12 calendar months of original booking.

I am so grateful for you all, but unfortunately the contracts from here on out must be implemented to the fullest extent because today can never happen again.

I have the best clients so thank you to everyone who shows up and values my time. I can't even express how much that really means to me.

The forecast shows rain for saturday. I'm hoping it changes but not looking good. I will be sending everyone a email as well. Just incase i miss anyone i wanted to make a post. If the weather doesn't change friday then ill be opening up 2 more dates for those to reschedule.

Few things...
We have so many fun mini sessions going on! I know I said I was done for a while but then I came up with a bunch of new ideas, so we can't just waste my creative thoughts. 😂 (Booking link was posted on my previous post).

Outdoor sessiona are coming. Waiting for these rainy days to disappear. So many fun sessions coming so be ready as they will be very limited.

Lastly enjoyed this beautiful dance photo. I was honored when Belle Royale Dance Academy asked me to take photos for their dress rehearsal and upcoming dance recital. If you're looking to sign your kiddos up for dance 18 months or older definitely go check them out, we absolutely love dancing there. 😍
