Wow!! What a wedding season!!! We have been with back to back weddings and Quinceañeras since April!! Beginning tomorrow, we are taking a week off as we go for a last minute family vacation. Events by J.Design will be unavailable and on vacation from 8/4-8/13. We will be back in the office on 8/14 and ready for our Fall events. We will make sure to respond once we are back in the office and cannot wait for this fall season. Thank you everyone!! 🎉❤️

The biggest mistake you can do is remove jewels from your crown. Remember who you are and straighten that crown! You got this!!! 💪

Moms, here are 2 tips to think about if you're debating whether to hire dancers or allow your daughter to select a court:
1. If hiring dancers: make sure your daughter takes some sort of dance lessons beforehand! Not for dancing purposes, but moreso for instruction purposes. Remember hired dancers are professional dancers that have experience in dancing. If your daughter is not familiar with the format, she will struggle to keep up and remember choreography!
2. If selecting her own court: keep the court moms/parents involved from the start! The more you communicate with the parents, the easier the planning will be! Plan out your practices in advance! That way you have all of the information for the court/parents when it's time to begin practices.

Overall, remember this is an important milestone for your daughter. She will build core memories from all of the experiences this requires and brings. Planning shouldn't be stressful, it should be fun! It shouldn't feel like a regret! If it begins to get overwhelming, contact a Professional Coordinator such as Events by J.Design! We are hire to guide you to make the planning process much easier! This may be your first, but in our end, we've honestly lost count on how many we've done! Really big shout out to Lynda White from Dance Fuze Studio Aurora for choreographing this Quinceañera program!! This is a glimpse of the court Waltz. She choreographed the entire program from grand entrance, coronation, court waltz, brindis and the Latin surprise dance. Make sure to contact Lynda for your Quinceañera choreography needs!! She hosts the court practices at her dance studio. She also had Karla who was her Emcee for the night and who made sure she had all name pronunciations correct for the performance. Thank you ladies!!! 🤗💖

A really big thank you to Diego Omar Trujillo for creating the custom music tracks for the entire Quinceañera program. Diego, we couldn't have done it without you and your smooth transitions!! 🤗💖

We were so excited to watch it all come together and watch the kids do a great job performing after the 10 weeks of practices they had. They are a great group of kids that built great wlmemories and bonds together! 🤗💖

We were really excited for this dance number and spent time putting it together and it came out amazing! At the end it opens up the dance floor. So make sure to raise your volume up and watch this dance (I apologize for my muffled volume parts at times, didn't know I was covering it).

Wedding Coordinating is my Passion!! I understand the importance & significance of every wedding and prosper in committing myself by giving 100% of my attention to each one. I take on every challenge, treat each one as my own, and am your BFF throughout the entire process. With a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, over 15 years of Wedding industry experience including Venue & Catering coordinator positions, fluent in both Spanish & English; not only do I have the tools to help you plan and coordinate your wedding, but also have the creativity, scheduling, vendor negotiating and visual understanding to turn your ideas into a reality. At Events by J.Design, we are responsible for your entire wedding day and help manage and coordinate all vendors and mishaps so that our clients can truly enjoy themselves - stress free!

Events by J.Design is very well known for our Month of Coordinator services but offer a few extra services to help our clients. We also offer full Wedding Planning services, Staffing services if you are in need of set up or servers, and Quinceañera/Sweet 16 Coordinating services. We do not limit the amount of times you contact us once booked, if you have a question - we have an answer for you! We also have a large list of Amazing vendors we have worked with that would be more than happy to assist you on your special day! We are located in Montgomery, IL but we serve the surrounding suburbs and Chicago-land area. We also offer our services for Destination Weddings in need of a Coordinator.

I am mother of two beautiful girls’ ages 10 and 12, a sweet baby boy who is 6 months old and a wife to a very loving and supportive husband. On my times off I enjoy family time, shopping with my girls, cuddle time with my mama’s boy and movie time at night with the husband. Most of all, you must know that I Chose to be a Wedding Planner & Coordinator because I truly LOVE it and am VERY good at it! When you hire Events by J.Design for your special day, not only do you get someone who knows their way in the industry, but you also get a Best Friend who is there for you whenever you need her and who wants you to enjoy your special day because you deserve that and so much more!
