Our Story
Located in downtown Ottawa, Kansas, The Bottle House offers the perfect setting for weddings, receptions, corporate events, fundraisers and private parties! --- The iconic Coca-Cola symbol has watched over the corner of 2nd and Walnut since Jack Going and S.E. Elmore established a home for the Ottawa Coca-Cola Bottling Company in 1941.
Their building brought refreshment and enjoyment to the friendly Midwestern community as the large floor to ceiling windows allowed spectators to observe the Coca-Cola bottling process! In the years to follow, this historic building continued to support the community in a variety of ways acting as the location for a local Town and Country Supply store, an Antique Mall and a soda shop. As time passed the hint of historic origins were covered by “modernization” and sadly overlooked.
Today, The Bottle House is a dramatic 10,000 sq ft. event venue with rustic industrial decor. Its original exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors, and open wood beam ceilings are an awe inspiring backdrop to its state of the art audio visual system and custom copper bar. The spacious interior is a welcoming environment ready to play a role in the next chapter of Your Story.
