I almost didn't get around to posting this today - so sorry!
In honor of not just the 100th day of school, but also the 100th year for Ottumwa Schools (and my awesome son who is in the graduating class), I am offering one heckuva bargain to any and every senior who might still be looking for some photos before graduation. One hundred dollars will get ya one hundred minutes in front of my camera(s) at any location(s) you like with no limit on number of outfits or photos taken. I will give you access to all edited proofs within two weeks, and if you get your session completed before the end of the month, I'll be sure to have a yearbook photo ready to go for you as well (those are due by March 7th if you want them turned in on time.) Any questions, feel free to give me a call or send a message. I'll also accept scholarships again for anyone who is looking to "adopt" a senior who might not otherwise be able to get their pictures taken. Let's have a great 2024!

Here’s a little bit about your photographers . . .
Sonese Frantz was bit by the "shutter bug" at an early age, and has loved photography ever since! Borrowing Grandma’s Polaroid and 110 cameras every chance she could get, there was always something worthy of snapping a picture of. Growing up all over God's country allowed her a constant backdrop of beautiful scenery that she couldn't wait to capture on film. Yes, film! She shot her first wedding on a 35mm Minolta Maxxum SLR camera, which is still functional, and used just for fun every once in awhile (You can't see the picture you took until after the film is developed! The current generation has no idea how to grasp this concept!)
Sonese started out doing photos in a more professional setting as favors to close friends and family members while she worked her way through College. It wasn't until starting a family of her own that Heart2Art Photography came to life.
Now, with a faithful client base in SE Iowa, she’s truly able to live out her dream behind the camera. In fact, since relocating to Ottumwa, there’s been a need for more hands on deck, which leads us to some exciting news! A partnership!!

Jeffrey Waddell joined Heart2Art in 2018, but his interest in photography started in 1982 with his grandfather's 1950 Canon and Nikon 35mm cameras and his very own first camera: a 110 Kodak. His passion continued to grow during his employment in photofinishing with CPI One Hour Photo in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He shot freelance landscapes and people for nearly twenty years before partnering with Heart2Art to provide SE Iowa with an affordable option for portraiture. From individuals to couples to families and from events to more intimate occasions, Jeffrey will work to bring your vision to reality. We are overjoyed to welcome Jeff to our team! He has a keen eye, and innate talent for capturing the emotion and beauty in every moment that he photographs! 📷
