It’s Talent Tuesday! 🤩

Meet Bethany, an expressive face painter who has been professionally sharing her talents at events for about a year and a half, though her creativity shines back to her five years on Instagram and YouTube under BethanyFae. Bethany’s favorite part of her work is watching kids’ faces light up when they see their finished design, closely followed by the funny, off-the-wall comments they make while waiting in line.

Bethany’s favorite events are ones where she can work alongside other artists and witness the diversity of their styles and creativity. While she loves painting pretty swirls, rainbows, and princess themes to make kids feel magical, she’s also had memorable moments painting adults who shyly admit they want a design. She finds it especially meaningful when adult women, who may feel self-conscious about their skin, see themselves beautifully transformed in her chair. Watching their faces light up with the same joy as a child’s makes her heart sing.

If she could perform anywhere, Bethany would love to paint at Kansas City Zoo’s neon display event in October, where her neon designs would glow against an otherworldly blacklight theme. When not painting, she’s likely baking sweets with her husband and cuddling with her cats—many of whom are named after Futurama characters. With a serious sweet tooth and a love for French pastries, she enjoys exploring bakeries for macarons and thrifting for unique vintage finds. Her go-to music includes “Like a Prayer” from the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack and “Labor” by Paris Paloma, setting the perfect vibe for her artistic sessions.

An oddball at heart, Bethany even has an impressive knowledge of the Legend of Zelda timeline, making her a unique addition to the SA Entertainment KC family! 💕

It’s Talent Tuesday 🤩

Meet Desi! She’s been painting for about 2.5 years, and during that time, she’s found joy in creating designs kids adore—especially Spider-Man, butterflies, and tigers. One of her favorite moments is when a child is so thrilled with their face paint that they give her a hug—a gesture that always warms her heart.

When Desi isn’t painting, she loves spending time with her family outdoors, whether they’re camping, trail riding, or kayaking. Alongside her artistic talents, Desi has been a dedicated full-time dental assistant for over 20 years, seamlessly balancing her passion for painting and her career in dentistry.

It’s Talent Tuesday! 🤩

For over 31 years, Dale has been spreading smiles through his work as a balloon artist. His favorite part of entertaining is seeing the joy on both kids’ and adults’ faces when they receive one of his balloon creations. While he enjoys all types of events, smaller venues where he can really engage with families, tell a few jokes, and bring some laughter are his favorites. One of his top balloon creations is a Spiderman hat, which always gets a great reaction. He’s also had the pleasure of performing at college events, where the students’ energy and enthusiasm for balloon art make the experience even more fun.

If Dale could perform anywhere in the world, he’d love to entertain at a big sports final championship game—whether it’s for college or professional teams, he enjoys the excitement that comes with those events. When he’s not busy twisting balloons with SA Entertainment KC, Dale fills his days babysitting his grandkids, working on jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, and playing golf. His go-to event prep music is a relaxing “Jazz in the Background” playlist on Spotify, perfect for setting the mood.

In his downtime, Dale enjoys spending quality time with his family, trying out new restaurants, and working part-time at a Home Improvement Store. This year, he’s particularly excited about adding a new role to his entertainment repertoire… 👀🎅🏼

It’s Talent Tuesday! 🤩

Meet Mandy, a talented entertainer who’s been working her magic with glitter tattoos since 2012. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with the kids, especially when she’s adding a little sparkle to their day. When it comes to events, she loves birthday parties because they allow her to customize her stencils to match the party’s theme, making each celebration unique and personal. Currently, butterflies and unicorns are her go-to designs.

One of her most memorable moments was working at the NFL draft last year. As a huge Chiefs fan, it was a special experience to represent Kansas City at such a big event. If Mandy could perform anywhere in the world, the World Cup would be her dream event. Growing up with a soccer coach for a dad and attending Wizards games, she developed a passion for the sport, and being part of such a global celebration would be amazing.

Outside of entertaining, she helps keep things organized in the office, writing contracts and ensuring everything runs smoothly. When she’s not working, she loves indoor cycling and has spent the past year traveling to Alabama, where her husband Roscoe is learning to fly Blackhawk helicopters.

It’s Talent Tuesday! 🤩

Meet Theresa, an incredible artist who’s been face painting for about 12 years—maybe 13, but who’s counting? Her favorite part of entertaining is interacting with people and making them laugh and smile, especially when she gets to surprise someone with a face paint design or bring a tiger to life. One of her favorite events is the AIDS Walk, where she finds meaningful connections and great conversations.

Theresa’s skills aren’t limited to just painting; her adaptability makes all the difference. One time, a child in her chair couldn’t communicate what he wanted—first she tried Spanish, and eventually, with a little surprise to herself, switched to American Sign Language. It made the child’s day, and she also shared a gentle reminder with the adult there about the importance of learning to communicate.

If Theresa could paint anywhere, it would be at the Super Bowl, but only if she gets to stay for the game too! Outside of entertaining, she loves spending time with family and friends, and she enjoys listening to any music that makes her sing and dance along. When she’s not creating magic, she’s busy “wifing, mothering, and working.”

Theresa adores being part of the SA Entertainment family. Getting paid to be creative, surrounded by other artists, and making people smile is an unbeatable combination. To her, it’s not just a job—it’s a joy, and she wouldn’t trade it for anything else. 🎨✨

It’s Talent Tuesday! 🤩

Meet Stacie, a seasoned balloon twister who’s been crafting magical creations for about 10 years! Her journey started when her daughter took up balloon twisting, and now it’s become a shared family passion. She loves attending balloon conventions and working alongside the talented artists at SA Entertainment, recalling how she and her daughter met Todd 8 years ago when he was towering above them on stilts!

Stacie’s dream is to twist balloons around the world, proving that you don’t need to speak the same language to make someone smile with a balloon in hand. She’s a busy mom of three, teaches Zumba and Barre classes, and even hopes to try out comedy one day. A lover of cooking and dancing, Stacie keeps active, especially with her adorable puppy, the Marvelous Miss Masel, by her side.

For Stacie, it’s not just about creating balloons—it’s about the joy and entertainment she brings to the people watching. She loves making people smile, no matter how long the line is. Parents often say they could watch her for hours, and honestly, she could too! 🎈💃
