Our Story

Volo Events was created by Savannah Hoit and Lindsay Robinette. These two woman were living average lives, working well-paying nine-to-five desk jobs. Savannah was an Accountant and Lindsay was a Communications Specialist. One day, as Savannah sat in her gray cubicle she drew an image of a star struggling to fit its five points inside of a box. It was the perfect representation of these two women full of so much energy, innovation, and dreams. A star simply cannot be forced into a square box. These two women could not live by society’s average limitations. They needed a career that allowed them to utilize their excitement and imagination to bring joy into people’s lives. With their varied backgrounds and experiences in events they realized event planning would be the perfect career choice for them. Thus they came together to create Volo Events.
