TWENTY NINE
I can’t believe I am almost 30, but the thing I can’t believe even more than that is the fact that I used to look at 30 year olds who didn’t have it “figured out yet” with amazement. Well the fact is I am that person, I don’t have it figured out yet but I for sure have a better idea of what “figuring it out” looks like. This is a journey that I’m nowhere near done with and I have so much more to figure out, but I’m so grateful to all that I’ve learned over this last year. I used to honestly be scared of growing older but now I look at it as the opportunity for growth and that excites me. The potential is exciting and I’m grateful for the years I’ve been able to live already. Thank you for supporting me on this journey, especially thank you to all the birthday wishes from friends and family, thanks for the love. Here’s to another year of growth!

Happy Birthday Beautiful! Fun fact about everyone’s favorite girl .hamrick . When we met she wouldn’t let me take pictures of her. BUT LOOK AT HER NOW! The amount of growth I’ve seen from this amazing woman is honestly astounding. She’s leaps and bounds above me in the content world and it genuinely makes me so proud to be the husband of an incredible person like her. She does this all while being such a great mom. So everyone go wish her a Happy Birthday!

When the client comes to YOU because of YOUR style. I tend to shoot dark and dramatic lighting. Bright highlights, dark shadows/blacks bringing the contrast out in the subject. This work allowed me to do just that.

I’m starting something new tomorrow. I’m extremely grateful for the time I’ve had being full time freelance and I’ve loved a lot of different aspects of it. But where I’m at in my life I feel like stability holds more weight for me. I’m starting full time work at an ad agency tomorrow and I’ll still be doing what I love. Sometimes I feel like a failure for taking a new job 2 months into my freelance career when most people would see this as a giant success (which in reality this is). I struggle with letting myself tell my own story and not comparing my own to others. But I know this is the right opportunity for me and my family and I can’t wait to see what happens from it. I’ll announce the ad agency tomorrow 😎

4 years ago today I got to marry someone I truly look up to. (Not literally though cuz she’s a bit shorter than me). If you could hear her whole story you would be absolutely blown away. Since we got married we’ve lived in 3 different states and 5 different houses. We have one incredible kid and years of experiences. I’m excited to see where life takes us In the next year.
