I made this for my Aunt Helen! It is HUGE. And so pretty. Loved the poinsettias they almost look real with their celery green centers. Hope to drop it off today!

This might be one of my favorites. More for the story than the wreath.

I have been living the Boy Mom life for quite a while now. And some of Max's friends' older brothers are starting to buy their first houses.

I got a message from one of those older brothers a few weeks ago - "So Jen, haven't I given you at least $45 (I was discounting some fall wreaths) worth of entertainment over the years to pay for a wreath?" 😂😂

And I answered "Absolutely."

This has been a treat. I asked him "How involved do you want to be in the process?"

His answer, "Not involved at all."

So today I dropped off his "not involved at all" wreath and had to take a photo.

Definitely one of the most special wreaths I have done!

Not a wreath but I have been having fun this autumn decorating inside of my house. I battle clutter ALL the time. Everything in my house has a story and after 53 years and living in four different cities that is a lot of stories! I love this crock it was one of my parents’ early antique finds. So I made a quick arrangement and love how it looks in my very small living/family room.

So I haven’t posted for ages. Started a new full time job and slowed down on wreath making for a bit. Oh! I also am renting a booth at Metcalf Antique Mall… D12. Finished up this wreath last night. It's huge. On on a 24 inch grapevine base. As always, I can't wait to see it on the over-sized door it was made for.

I seriously can't wait to see this wreath on the gorgeous door it will hang on. I will share as soon as I get a photo. I love doing custom wreaths because it is a co-creation. I always leave space to make adjustments for my customer's vision. And that's how you get this!

I was asked to make a wreath for an American Legion Post Auxiliary to present to the American Legion during a Memorial Day ceremony at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. The customer liked it so much she asked me to make one for her door (the 2nd one). It was an honor to make this wreath. And I think about it being presented on Monday at the cemetery where Mom and Dad are buried.

As I made the American Legion wreath I prayed for all those who have served our country and died in service. I prayed for their families. I prayed for our country.

How will you become a more engaged citizen of the United States and demonstrate your patriotism and gratitude to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice?

That's what I am thinking about this Memorial Weekend.

I haven't been on in so long! I took a bit of a break from Jen Makes Wreaths social media efforts. But I had to share this gorgeous custom spring wreath I just finished. I love it so much. Every wreath is unique. It's easier for me to do a custom order because I think about the person it is going to or the person who is giving the gift. It's that element of connection that means a lot to me,. It's much harder for me to just make a wreath for my etsy shop. Happy Spring!
