We’ve had so many fun boards go out this week, full of bright greens and rainbow themes! Happy Paddy’s Day, friends! 🌈☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀

Thanks to my mom (shout out to Ruth Mattli Frey), my family has traditions for every holiday and St. Pat’s is no exception. For many years, we participated in the Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day parade (we even won the Martin City parade a few years ago!), and we’d get to be fairies and leprechauns for a day. On the years when it was cold and rainy, we knew it would be worth the rainbow 🌈 🧚🏻‍♀️ Out of all the good memories and fun traditions, by far my favorite was coming home from school to the smell of corned beef and cabbage stewing in the crock pot. That was my pot of gold, no doubt! If we were extra lucky, we’d get to make snake bread out of crescent rolls, too 🥰🍀 There truly is no guessing how I ended up doing what I do!

Though the traditions are changing as we grow up and start our own families, St. Patrick’s Day will always have a special place in my heart. No matter how you celebrate today, may your day be touched with a bit o’ luck and a lotta love.
