This was our first year running this event as a committee and we know there are kinks to work out. But we are so pleased with the support of the community and the turnout. Please keep watching, next year the Town turns 100 years old and we have BIG THINGS planned!

We have over 30 vendors offering the follow goods: Paintings on canvas, primitives, antiques, tumblers, tshirts, cutting boards, mouse pads, cups, freshies, Paparazzi jewelry, hula hoops, thrifted items, CBD, oddities, custom tumblers and jewelry, homemade dog treats, kettle corn, handmade wood work, embroidered items, Champion windows, doors, and screens, homemade pet accessories, unique handmaid crochet items, soaps, candles, roasted chiles, fruits, vegetables, eternal flowers, crochet plushies, crystals, baked goods, mini cheesecakes, 3D printed toys, tshirts, and other 3D printed goods, cowgirl clothing and jewelry, more handmaid shirts, baby items, and natural products, and much more! While you’re shopping stop and grab an ice coffee or other beverage from Brewed Awakening, they will be set up on Main Street near Harvest Baptist church. What is Ovid Days?

Ovid is a town located in the middle of Sedgwick County Colorado.

For the past 3 decades, the OVFD has had a small festival for the community to enjoy. It is an inexpensive way for all of Sedgwick County to come out and have a little family fun.

It is important to OVFD because of their location they are a huge part of the entire County. They support and help families and businesses in Sedgwick, Ovid, Julesburg, and even up into Chappell. OVFD is everywhere all of the time. Shopping in the market, eating Sunday chicken at Lucy's, running the beer garden at the race track, coaching High school sports, eating breakfast at D&J, golfing at all of the charity tournaments, a burger at Luna's, members of EVERY county board, purchasing 4H animals at the fair, and you might even see them drinking a soda at one of the County bars.

This year they want you to come out and enjoy yourself on their turf. They have put together a family event that has a little something for everyone!

All ages Home Run Derby - $1000 payout

Color Run charity 5k - Children's Hospital

2 day Softball Tournament - Average Joe's

Kid's Games for the littles - community that cares

Over 30 vendors in the vendor market

Bicycle Raffle (4 brand new bikes) - AP Diesel

Ovid days just keeps getting better!

Brewed Awakening will be setting up Saturday morning at 8:00 and staying until noon! Rifle Creek Kettle Corn will be setting up during the vendor market from 10:00am-4:00pm, Harvest Baptist will be selling their snow cones and cotton candy during the day, and the rest of the vendors are planning on setting up around 4:30pm and staying through supper time into the night!

Wondering what to do while some of these guys aren’t open? SCOR will be selling food and drinks at the ball field concession stand all 3 days of Ovid Days weekend!

Come out Sunday morning, June 9th, to support your Sedgwick County Cougar Football with a free will pancake feed!
