Yesterday in our weekly art class we painted a watercolor landscape. I put a few of my favorites behind mine. Some of these ladies are true beginners and have never watercolored before. Just replaced the giant Santa Christmas art in my kitchen with some pear perfection. As I’m taking down Christmas this year, I’m realizing that my house is entering its green era! ☺️ I’ve added more blue-green to these pear paintings to pick up more of the chalk board wall behind it. Don’t be afraid to go back into your art later and add in additional depth, color or texture. Sometimes you see things with fresh eyes and a few modifications are in order … in art and in life!

Happy new year my friends! As we’re thinking about what was wonderful last year, what we are grateful for, and what we might possibly do differently, I jumped at the chance to attend a vision boarding day put on by ! It was held at a unique and lovely little venue in Winter Park called, . I try to attend at least one networking event a month. It helps me for 3 reasons… 1. I get to explore a venue I have not yet painted at. 2. I am amongst other fellow wedding vendors and always learn a little something new and 3. I think it’s always good to nudge myself outside of my comfort zone and gain a little creative inspiration! Cheers to a beautiful 2025! Great to meet you and !

A Christmas commission for a family’s holiday tradition. This one was for a grandma who makes a puzzle each year for each grand out of a special moment from their year. Then they all work on the puzzles together. I love this and when I have grandkids I’m stealing it!

What a joy to experience live painting in Winter Park. It was actually my first time there. I loved all of the sculptures and plaques to look at. Even the bathroom had historical elements to enjoy! This bride had unique and gorgeous touches throughout. Her guests even got to enjoy Winter Park Boat Tours during the cocktail hour. So beautiful with
