🐾 Meet Gus – Waggs’ Dog of the Month for January! 🐾

Gus is a 1.5 year old Yorkie, who has two older human sisters that keep him on his toes. He loves to go for car rides and shopping. Gus loves meeting people and can’t pass up a good belly scratch. He was named after Augustus McCrae from the Lonesome Dove. What a good boy!

We were blown away by the number of entries we got for January- so thank you to everyone who participated! We have even more fun surprises planned for next month, so be sure to enter your dog again for another chance to be Wagg’s Dog of the Month! 🐶

🐾 We are excited to announce our new program Waggs' Dog of the Month! 🐾

Enter your dog for the chance to be selected as Waggs' Dog of the Month at the Waggin' Trail Dog Park. The dog of the month will be featured on the Owasso Recreation & Culture page, the Waggin' Trail Dog Park kiosk, as well as get a special treat! Winners will be announced on the 15th of the month. Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Owasso Christmas Parade! We saw some pretty creative designs, and everybody did a wonderful job.

We were blown away by the community’s support and creativity at this year’s Owasso Christmas Parade! With 59 parade entries and over 1,200 citizens participating in the parade- it is hard to narrow down the winners. The theme for this year's parade was "Christmas Movie on Parade." Congratulations to the following businesses and organizations, who went above and beyond to decorate your floats and engage the community. We are so thankful for your participation!

Merry Christmas from the City of Owasso! We are excited to present the Owasso Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 14th, starting at 9:00 AM, located at Smith Farm Marketplace.

Our goal is to provide a fun and safe event for the community. We are aware of the ever-changing weather projections and are intently monitoring the forecast for conditions that may cause adjustments to the event. If any adjustments are needed, we will be providing updates through our social media platforms.

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Owasso Harvest Festival! In October of 2004, a small committee came together with the common goal of providing a special fall event for the citizens of Owasso. Since then the event has continued to grow, but our goal remains the same. Join us on October 12th from 11:00-4:00 at Redbud Festival Park for another year of free family fun!
