The Eric Group and The City of Owensboro proudly announce The 4th Annual Downtown Summer Jam, set for Saturday, July 19, 2025, at McConnell Plaza in Owensboro, KY. THE ANDY BRASHER BAND will headline the event. Legendary Owensboro band, The Bombers, will kick off the show. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. CDT.

As we’ve said many times, the level of talent right here in our backyards is amazing, and we’re excited to present both of these bands at the annual Downtown Summer Jam.”
Hoppy Molly will offer beer, cocktails, and other beverages to attendees. Food Trucks will also be at the event. This event also serves as a special edition of L!VE on the Banks, a weekly concert series in Downtown Owensboro.
Eric continued, “Like last year, admission is FREE. However, a limited number of reserved VIP tables are available for only $100 each. That includes four seats ($25 per person), Private PIT access, dedicated beverage access, porta toilets, and other perks. We only have 40 tables available. When they are gone, they’re gone. Hurry, those will go fast!

Kentucky songwriter, recording, and performing artist Andy Brasher brings fresh energy to the Americana music scene through his vivid storytelling, soulfully captivating vocals, and mastery of his instrument.
Andy writes, records, and performs on a national level, delivering poignant commentary on life experiences through soulful ballads, hard-hitting country-rock anthems, and hilarious, tongue-in-cheek diddys.
Andy is currently working on his 7th studio album in Nashville, TN with long-time producer and friend, Harry Smith, and the Andy Brasher Band.
Andy’s last album, Myna Bird, was released in 2020 to great acclaim. A star studded team, including 4 time Grammy Award winning producer and engineer, Ross Hogarth (Keb' Mo', Shawn Colvin, REM, John Cougar Mellencamp), producer Harry Lee Smith (Martina McBride, Restless Heart, Angaleena Presley, Brasher/Bogue), legendary drummer Kenny Aranof and more, helped to create Andy's latest and 6th studio album, Myna Bird.
The Andy Brasher Band now performs songs from Myna Bird along with Andy’s previous five albums of original music. The band includes their own take on favorite covers, as well as part of their live set. Andy Brasher Band travels the US, bringing the show to audiences of all sizes.
Climb into The Bombers' brand new Airmobile and put the top down. You can sit back and enjoy the ride in fine upholstered comfort, or get up and move around if so inclined. There's plenty of legroom, and the radio picks up signals from Memphis, Detroit, Chicago, Liverpool, Philadelphia, and Nashville. It's about a four-hour drive, but the music makes it feel like a spin on the loop. Who or what you'll see along the way is anybody's guess, but you're sure to enjoy the trip.
