We had such a blast at the New Years Ballroom Dance Party last night where we taught Waltz and Hustle! So excited for next month, when we will be celebrating Valentine's Day with Waltz and Tango! Thank you for all who came out and helped make this such a fun night!

I am excited to share with you our plans for hosting monthly Ballroom Dance Parties starting January, 2025!

Our Ballroom Dance Parties are scheduled on Fridays through the Spring for the following dates:

January 10- New Year's Ballroom Dance Party
February 14- Valentine's Day Ballroom Dance Party
March 14- St. Patrick's Day Ballroom Dance Party
April 11- Spring Ballroom Dance Party
May 9- Summer's Coming! Ballroom Dance Party

For each date, the night's schedule looks like this:
7:00-7:30pm Intro to Waltz Class
7:30-8:00pm Intro to Ballroom Class (Learn a new style each month!*)
8:00-9:00pm Open Dance Party
*In January, we will be learning Hustle, a fast swing-style dance that is easy to pick up.

Held in a real dance studio, we are careful to make sure we keep our dance floors intact and clean. We ask that you please bring in a clean pair of shoes to change into for dancing once you arrive. In this semi-formal environment, make the night special by dressing up! Each of our dance parties are sure to be an unforgettable and enjoyable evening!

The cost of the evening is $25 per person. Cash or check are accepted at the door.

I was so blessed to be asked to teach Ballroom Dance at this special event last weekend. Most of the 80 attendees had very little prior dance experience and they did an incredible job learning! Had such a great time dancing with Mr. Owosso himself, John Hankerd, during his Mr. Owosso campaign earlier this Summer during the Curwood Festival. Getting excited for our Fall Waltz Classes this September! Look for more information regarding registration coming later this week!

This is for all our teachers, homeschool co-ops, and school administrators in our community. Wouldn't it be a great change of pace to see our middle and high-schoolers out on the dance floor Waltz-ing to slow songs and swing dancing to the fast songs than the dance styles that are often more popular now-a-days? This dream can now become a reality! I would love to teach your students not only how to make dancing so much more fun, comfortable, graceful, and friendly, but also about dance floor etiquette and social skills! Plan ahead for your upcoming School Dances for the 2024-2025 school year. I cannot wait to work with you and with your students!
