WT Bruce’s collection of western photography began around 2002. WT is a western focused freelance photographer from Homedale, Idaho. Rodeo and ranching have been a part of his family's lifestyle since the early 1900’s. He answers to Bill or WT and can often be found in the rodeo arena competing or taking some of the most desirable action photos. He has also added some incredible western flair wedd

ings to his portfolio, school photos, and senior portraits. Rodeos that WT Bruce Photos regularly attends; Idaho State High school Finals, Salinas Rodeo, Molalla Buckaroo Rodeo over 4th of July, Gooding Pro Rodeo, Bruneau Round-Up, and Pendleton Round-Up. When WT is taking a break from snapping photos you will find him at his trailer grilling up some of the finest tri tip, shrimp and stuffed peppers along with a long line of cowboys waiting for a plate of his tasty grub.

It's rarely disputed that the road to the NFR is one of the toughest endeavors in barrel racing, in a close race with what follows ---

Ten grueling back-to-back rounds where every single competitor has the talent, the will, and the horsepower to leave with the gold buckle.

We know the Top 15 are the best in the world, and we'll watch on the edge of our seats through each and every run in December.

But sometimes we forget to mention that the road to fall just a little bit short is just as challenging, and those that end the year just outside the top fifteen, or twenty, or one hundred, or whatever goal they were shooting for, are still among the best in the world.

The best make shots and they miss shots, but they never stop taking them.

This post is in honor of those who push through the ups and downs year after year and inspire the dreamers and the watchers to keep pushing, too.

We see you, and we are proud to have you as WPRA members.
