The Isom Place Oxford

The Isom Place Oxford Welcome to our beloved Isom Place. Built by pioneer settler & physician Dr. T.D. Isom. This antebellum mansion is the oldest home in Oxford, MS.

It has been featured on the cover of National Geographic, written about by William Faulkner and so much more! The Isom Place is deeply rooted in southern history that goes back before the Civil War. It is is recognized in the National Register of Historic Places. The Isom Place has been featured in the London Times as one of the original planter antebellum mansions of the south. The Isom Place was

purchased from the University of Ole Miss in October of 2020 and now is an event venue. The first meeting of trustees for the University of Mississippi met in our very own dining room. As you can see The Isom Place is the cornerstone of every major event from the creation of our beloved Oxford and we are still making memories! Book your special event with us today.
