Happy Labor day to all of those who work so hard! Especially the ones who work so hard to make events & weddings special! The moms, dads, brides and grooms that work so hard to have their special days. Of course we can't forget the Caterers, photographers, landscapers, event planners, electricians, plumbers, shuttle drivers, accounting, and the land stewards who work all year around with us to make every event magical! Hope yall are having a great relaxing weekend!!
The "gift wagon" has become one of our most used but highly under rated assets of Tranquility. It's always included in every package, and used in every event. It was ment to be just an accent piece as it is a VINTAGE piece of farm history. However it has been well loved, and dressed up more times than we can count. So today it deserves its own glory 🥰 isn't she beautiful?

We’re so excited to introduce our next member, Kristen M. Akers of Tranquility Estate & The Cottage at Tranquility Estate!
Born and raised in Granville County, Kristen has been a beloved GWEE member for 3 years, known for her fun-loving spirit and strong advocacy for consumer needs.
Tranquility Estate, on the outskirts of Oxford, offers breathtaking views and a historic charm. Kristen’s journey began with hosting events on this family property, transforming it into a premier venue. Her passion extends to her natural stone countertop company, Everyday Custom Interiors, and her horse community group, Granville County Equestrians.
When she’s not working, Kristen enjoys family time, horseback riding, and watching shows like Bridgerton and Yellowstone. Her life motto is “esse quam videri” - “to be rather than to seem.”

Unlike other vendor fairs and expos, GWEE was created specifically with the goal of local citizens supporting local businesses. We started as a traveling venue tour, but COVID-19 challenged us to change our approach. Guess what? It made us even better!

Our first addition is " The Cottage" also known as The Cottage at Tranquility Estate!
This little white cottage is less than a mile away from the venue. It is a primative setting with a rocking chair front porch, sleeps 4-6 guests, has a large full bathroom, breakfast area, and open loft/living room. This quaint little home can be added on to any package, or rented to the public for a two night minimum!

This past weekend we welcomed the Crossroads Christian Colts back for another great Homecoming. 🎉 It was a cold night but dancing and a lovely fireplace always keeps the party going! We absolutely enjoyed seeing parents, getting to hang out with great chaperones, and seeing this group have a blast!
It was great to show some support and sponsor our neighbors this past year with all of their hard work in a great community 🥰 we were unexpectedly recognized which gives us such an appreciated feeling heading into the new year 👏 Can't wait to see what 2024 brings Tranquility Estate our family, friends, and neighbors!
