We are thrilled to announce our 2024-2025 opera season: Perfect Matches: A Season of Love and Laughter. Join us for three lighthearted evenings of comic delight featuring UM Opera Theatre students and artists from across campus and the community.

We open the season this fall with “The Tie that Binds: Scenes of Love and Conflict” on Friday October 18 at 7:30 and Sunday October 20 at 3:00 in David H. Nutt Auditorium. It’s light-hearted, funny, and FREE!

Join us for an evening of spectacular solo singing at “An Evening of Arias” on November 19 at 7:30 in David H. Nutt Auditorium.

An Opera Double Feature at the Gertrude C. ford Center juxtaposes Haydn’s classical comedy “La canterina” (the songstress) with the contemporary masterpiece “The Beautiful Bridegroom”, music and libretto by Dan Shore.
We think you’ll agree that these one act operas are a “Perfect Match”!
