It is a sad day. The silver maple that served as a beautiful backdrop and has been on the farm for probably 140 years had to come down. We’re glad it came to our attention before it landed on one of the barns though! Almost the entire tree was rotted through but still growing trying to repair itself. Ideas on what to add now? Maybe a pergola?
