Our Story
The Oxford Roundup is held the 3rd Saturday of June each year at Napawalla Park in Oxford, Kansas. It began in 2011 when a few people in town gathered together to create the Oxford Community Events. They created the group to find additional ways to bring people to Oxford and help make people aware of this quaint little town. One of thier ideas was to start a new festival in town centered around Fathers Day activities. The first year included a BBQ cookoff, a horseshoe tournament and recliner races as well as some food vendors. After the first year it was decided to move it under the 501c umbrella of the Oxford Chamber of Commerce to be able to aid in donation writeoff for the supporters. Since then it has grown tremendously. Over the years there have been additional activities including dunk tanks, moon walks, face painters, mechanical bull riding, flea markets, pet show, volleyball tournament, a full day of bands, water balloon toss, pie eating contest, ice cream social, 5K run and many other activities. Each year we try to change and improve the event to keep it fresh and continue to grow its atraction and popularity.
