The Oxford Performing Arts Center is the region's primary arts and entertainment venue located in the heart of downtown Oxford, Alabama. The venue is comprised of a 1,200 seat main theatre, a 200 seat Studio theatre, and two art galleries. Since opening in May of 2013, the Oxford Performing Arts Center has become a thriving cultural destination to locals and visitors bringing a huge variety of arts and cultural programming to the area.

Due to anticipated severe winter weather impacts on our region and with the required closure of our venue due to those impacts, it has become necessary to postpone the performances of Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations, originally scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2025. Ensuring the safety of our patrons, performers, and staff is our top priority. ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝWe are actively working with the producers of this incredible show to reschedule these performances. Once the new dates are announced, no further action will be required for ticket holders to attend on the new dates. Ticket holders will receive an email with additional information on refund requests.

Please stay safe over the next few days and we hope to see you at OPAC soon!

Weather Update: "Ain't Too Proud โ€“ The Life and Times of The Temptations"

This weekend, we are excited to present three performances of the smash-hit musical, Ain't Too Proud โ€“ The Life and Times of The Temptations as part of its Broadway National Tour.

We are closely monitoring the potential for winter weather in our area. As of Monday, January 6, 2025, all performances remain on schedule as planned.

We are in regular communication with our local first responders here in Oxford to stay informed about conditions and will update you promptly if any changes arise. Stay tuned to our social media channels and website for the latest updates.
