Happy 🥃 from Sweet Basil Station 🌿✨

We’re true believers in “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere” and we’ve made a Mint Julep to prove it.

Ingredients:

– 4-5 mint leaves (or however fresh you feel)
– 2 oz of simple syrup
– crushed or cubed ice (a lot of it to beat this heat)
– a splash of cold water
– 2 oz of your favorite bourbon
– sprig of fresh mint (to make it look fancy)

Muddle your mint (this is a fancy way to say crush) and simple syrup together at the bottom of your glass.
Top with plenty of ice, then pour in a splash of cold water.
Finally, add your bourbon, garnish with mint, and drink up!
