Monday night we had the pleasure of hosting Chess Club in Palatka, FL for a special night. There were first time learners, first time visitors, long time players, and a five year old that gave us a run for our money. The Chess Club will be expanding their program with us after the new year. You can join them at their next meeting at Jenkins Community Center located at 1900 Napoleon St, on Monday, December 9th at 4:30pm! They’ll play chess for an hour and then shoot some hoops at 5:30. Stay tuned for dates and times when they will be back at The River Center.

Students from Florida School of the Arts photography class stumbled upon the River Center yesterday afternoon. We invited them to take in the rooftop view and capture the beautiful riverfront as part of their lesson. We hope to share what they captured soon!
