Daniel’s motto has always been “It’s All About the Bride.” In keeping with that promise, he works one-on-one with the bride to design and create a custom gown to their specifications. Unlike the process of selecting a dress off the rack at another bridal salon, this is personalized from start to finish.

Let's take a peek into the process of custom designed gowns. The first step is a consultation with your designer where you communicate your ideas about the theme, color palette, venue and season that your wedding will be held as well as elements that you do and do not wish to include in your dress. This not only includes the style, but the fabric and details such as embroidery, lace and beadwork.

After gathering this information, Daniel will create design illustrations for the bride to approve. Once the design is selected, measurements are taken and a muslin mock-up of the dress is created so that the bride can observe how the dress will fit and fine-tune any adjustments. This is the best time to navigate any changes in design before Daniel begins construction. Once the gown is created, fittings ensure that you are aisle-ready.

You may wonder if this attention to detail has a high price tag. Consider the fact that when you purchase a bridal gown from a bridal shop, you will need to have alterations made to the gown. Alterations can cost as much as half of the price of the dress. Custom gowns do not need alterations because your wedding gown is designed and created specifically for you.
