d family/friends/guests were always welcome. The Ranch is conveniently located just 3 miles south of Historic Palestine (approx. 2 hours from Dallas or Houston). From the moment you drive on the property, you’ll find “country landscaping”. Peach trees, grape vines, & our “little piggy pen” line the front drive. Enjoy a stroll around the property and you’ll find antique “garden beds” filled with vegetables, The Model-T surrounded by flowers, rustic tractors and farm implements, and eclectic décor. Cast a line in the spring fed lake, exchange vows or host an event in our 1927 Chapel or just sit a spell in the rocker on the front porch and enjoy nature’s beauty. You'll feel like you have stepped back in time in one of our Bed & Breakfast Rooms at the 1891 Dogtrot House. The quiet country setting of our cabins is a great alternative to traditional hotel style lodging. Whether you stay a night, a week, a month or longer, you’ll find the fully furnished cabins to be comfortable and cozy. For anyone hoping to visit the Fairy Garden Trails this season - they will officially be "constructed" and open to visitors on March 22 until April 30. We recommend visiting early as the Fairy Gardens are made of natural materials and will degrade as time passes. The park is open year-round, and you can visit anytime.
