Out here at the holiday market at the fairgrounds. 10-5 today and 11-5 Sunday. I fired up my smoker and brought some hickory log fired BBQ. Pulled pork/brisket/ and some chicken wings. Also smoked a few bacon wrapped dates. Look forward to seeing everyone out enjoying the day. Thank you for your continued support.

Going to be out at Moonstone Farm tomorrow from 2-8. If you haven’t been by the newest taphouse in town make sure to stop in before the season is done. There will be indoor seating and the heaters will be on out on the porch.

Going to be at moonstone farm and taproom tomorrow Thursday from 2-8.2141s church st. Palmer Alaska. This is the last week of the market but the taproom will still be open. If you haven’t been out to check it out it’s a really special place. Bringing a special menu to welcome in the fall. Short ribs w red wine reduction/ blackened catfish w gumbo/ grilled ribeye steaks/ pork belly burnt ends.It’s a night at the farm to remember. There will be a few more farm fresh items also. Come support your local farm.

Had a slight hiccup on the drive down to sacredacreak in ninilchik. We left our trailer in the side of the road and made the most of it and played iron chef for a few hours to get out tent setup in order. Stop in for some brisket/ pulled pork/ and as always our meat candy pork belly burnt ends this place is about to broo some major beats and bass.
