Another successful farm wedding at The Gillespie Farm. It rained all day and stopped just in time for the I do’s.

One more wedding for the season and the last open house of the year. Join us on Sunday at noon for a tour of the farm.

We had quite the eventful weekend at the farm when a visitor sadly ran over our 1,000 gallon propane tank. By the grace of God no one was injured or worse. We were swiftly evacuated and firefighters from 5 townships worked tirelessly until they cleared us to return at 11pm. Some firefighters were treated for fume inhalation and heat exhaustion. (No one had heart failure as some rumors have stated🙄)Again thanks to all the firefighters, police and paramedics who made sure everyone was evacuated safely. Thank you to the fire company for allowing us to quickly move an entire wedding to the firehouse. And a huge thanks to all our guests who remained calm and understanding throughout the day. We finally have power back with temporary tanks and the process to dig out the old tank and replace it starts next week. God is good. Feeling thankful and blessed🙏
