I am honored to have been invited by the incredible to offer a Cacao Journey during this upcoming, intimate women’s gathering.❤️Amie and I have been sisters on the yoga path for the majority of the past 10 years, working, praying, serving and studying alongside one another at Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville. Both Amie and Maryandra are facilitators and space holders of the transformational, healing and expressive arts. They share a background in various forms of dance, yoga and meditation with a passion for experiencing through the somatic lense. Explore your sacred sensuality through the freedom of movement, ease into inner reflection, and realign your energy through cacao, asana, reiki and shamanic journeying. Unleash Your Sacred Fire is a grounding and expansive opportunity to empower the sacred feminine within.

This day retreat begins on Sunday, December 3rd at 9:15 am and ends at 7 pm. It will take place at Amie’s private residence in Yogaville. We will gather in the large and empty living room turned retreat room, with a kitchen, fridge and basic cooking supplies within the home. You can choose to bring your own lunch, dinner and snacks to warm up in the microwave or over the stove, or you can purchase your meals at Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville located down the road (0.4 miles). Ashram meals are strictly vegan and vegetarian. We will provide a light vegan/vegetarian dinner (hummus, chips, nuts, dips, soft drinks, etc.) to carry us between evening movement practices.

If it makes logistics easier for you, you are welcome to sleep over in the living room/retreat room on Saturday night and/or Sunday night, at no additional cost. You would be required to bring your own sleeping materials (air mattress/sleeping bag, sheets, blanket, pillow, bath towels, etc) and may be sharing the room with other overnight retreat participants. Local airbnb options may also have availability, as well as the ashram.

Here is my view this morning. It feels like an invitation—a fresh canvas. “The world is your oyster” vibes. Feeling the mystery and potential. I am reflecting on the feeling of disappointment today. And the longer I sit and explore it, the more I understand that disappointment is an important medicine. It’s a wake up call for what we don’t want in our life, and therefore opening up to what we do. It’s a push to rise up and get clear on what we want to call in. What is your disappointment trying to tell you? How can you take responsibility and create what appears to be lacking? Remember we can ask our divine guides for support, but we have to meet them halfway. 🪄 I love this magic wand emoji. It reminds me of the word “Abracadabra”, which translates to “I will create”. What do you want to create, and claim into your life right now?

I feel elated to be apart of the movement to bring the sacred back to this ancient superfood we know as chocolate. The New Logo✨Five months after creating Sacred Events, a logo has finally come into existence. This work lives in the space of that which is intentional, meaningful and authentic, and I knew that it was important to allow time and space for the unfolding process, including the logo design. The iridescent image for Sacred Events symbolizes the dynamic realm of existence that unites us all. This artistic and metaphorical representation is deliberately designed without words or supplementary graphics. The intention is to invite individuals to enter this conscious space, drawing upon their personal interpretations, wisdom, insights, and visualizations to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their unique journey, and that which mysteriously interconnects them to all of life.
