So you know I've been super busy...
I thought I'd share why 😁
I had an amazing opportunity to be part of a very special night. Each year, Chico State Seufferlein Sales Program (SSP) puts on a very special dinner during their McGowen Invational Sales Competition. This is a Competition in which students have the opportunity to have real life experience casting a Sales pitch to company sponsors to compete for prize money and maybe one day a phenomenal job. Last night sponsors were Papé and Cintas. Many other Sponsors attend and have to opportunity to network for future employees.
Our daughter not only went through this program but also student ran it and upon graduation had an outstanding job waiting for her. I did have the honor of seeing her in a special alumni video which made me tear up. Very proud Mom!
I was asked to do the florals for this event which is near and dear to my heart. I've never worked harder or spent more time on anything in my life but it was so worth it.
My favorite part of the night was when it was announced that the florals were available to take home- everyone had them claimed in about 10 seconds. There were 71 pieces and around 206 attendees. It was a nice compliment to say the least.
This was BIG for me and I could not have done it without the help of my team, my family. Love you guys!

Hi! I miss you! It's been pretty busy around my flower farm.
I'm doing a really cool professional job tomorrow but I purchased and grew extra flowers. If I can get my work done today, I am considering making some top notch bouquets with some of these gorgeous beauties! Is anyone interested in purchasing flowers in our stand or The Porch tomorrow?

Please keep in mind they might be slightly more expensive because they are specialty shipped flowers but I think you'll love them! There's lots more then I'm showing you here.

I appreciate all of you so much. I wish I had more beauty to share but the grasshoppers, critters, wind and hot weather haven't been kind this week and whatever I have left have already been obligated.
Let's see how we're looking in mid October. I'll reach back out soon.
Our Dahlias really want to bloom but need cooler weather.
I do still have a few pumpkins for sale by appointment only. The stand is temporarily closed. Unfortunately, I will not have flowers to sell at The Porch for the next 2 weeks but I promise I'll personally still be there for all the goodies!

This weekend we have the privilege of throwing a few flowers on an amazing talented artist and friends booth at the 🐝Honey Bee Festival🐝 in Palo Cedro.

I'd love to share a deeply personal post tonight if you'd indulge me. This is today at our local Honey Bee Festival. This is a snipit of a 6 minute song. Meet Griffin, my Son. He is a Senior this year, 17 years old and an absolute amazing human. I am so in love with this big guy and his talent and absolutely in awe when he plays. He brought me to tears. Take a listen and when you do I want you to know, this young man has done so much hard work to help me bring you flowers. He's amazing! Enjoy!

Good Morning! Please share :) Happy last day of July. 🇺🇸 We have tons of fresh Flowers down at The Porch. Did you know this place is family owned and run? It sure would be nice to give them our support and fill up these tables! If we want places like this in our community, we have to show up. It's far too quiet for such an amazing place. I love it here! Kindness is contagious so lets get a little personal with a story and why kindness matters so much. I was pretty scared when I first started selling flowers. We always judge ourselves the hardest. Starting new things always a gamble right? I have my stand and I spent a ton of money on it, sold some beautiful flowers at it, then the heat hit, making it near impossible to share my flowers with you. A dear friend of mine encouraged me to go talk to Anna (The Owner of The Porch) and just ask if it would be okay to put some flowers in her eatery. I was so scared to ask. I don't like to ask help and I think that's pretty natural right? We all have these trials or fears. Anna welcomed me with the kindest heart. This grew me personally and restored my confidence. She's someone I am so proud to know. I've quietly been watching her and this business. The hours she puts in, the effort is 2nd to none. Her kindness and giving nature to the community, her kindness to me matters. Her family is doing things for us that is not talked talked about and not for personal gain. It is for the good of simply being good. I hope it matters to you and you will buy the sandwich, the coffee the handmade sweet stuff! This is what makes Palo Cedro home, a place to raise kids, a support system and a happy future. We need to come together and support what's happening here. It is a thing of absolutely beauty. Please come to the Porch, you gotta eat, why not eat here today?

When I get to know the story, the person, the reason on a special order I pick my flowers differently just for that person. I really plan for as long as I know and save flowers for them. It takes me alot more time and it is more expensive but art takes effort and bringing you the best I can makes me happy! Picking these took an hour, next they process and in a few days after they have been delivered and enjoyed I'll share with you the final product. I do require prepayment on special orders because I really do treat those differently and once they are cut they are on a clock. If I have extras when I'm done, I'll throw them out in the Stand for Father's Day! Stay tuned!
